Today in the morning the FSB began to search the home of a National Movement veteran Zodiye Saliyeva and her son Seyran in Bakhchisarai, in the 20 Mira Street, according to the Head of the Central Election Commission of Kurultay of the Crimean Tatar people Zair Smedlyaev.
“A few dozen of heavily armed people are in the courtyard. Some common citizens came to support the family. According to them, the security forces do not release Seyran’s pregnant wife who spent a month in hospital with miscarriage risk and bleeding. She came home from the hospital not long ago. When the ordinary people asked to let her leave the house, the security forces responded with rudeness.”
Reportedly, Seyran Saliyev is taken to the Bakhchisarai police station. During the search in the home, mobile phones were seized.
Seyran Saliev is a civil activist who used the mosque loudspeaker to inform of the searches and arrests in Bakhchisarai on May 12, 2016, when the Crimean Tatars were arrested in the "Hizb ut-Tahrir" case. For this action, Seyran was fined 20 thousand rubles.
