Rizatdinova expressed her strong position on the Russia-annexed Crimea, Internet portal Tribuna reports.
Ukrainian gymnast said she supports the position of her countryman, the Crimean Alexander Usik saying that "Crimea is Crimea." In her opinion, all are well aware that actually Crimea is part of Ukraine, but we need to get rid of the words like "Ukraine", "Russia", "annexation".
“I think that what we really need to listen to the people. And the most important thing is that there was no war there, no fire, for the people to live quietly in peace, without any revolutions,” Rizatdinova believes.
Earlier, the Ukrainian boxer Alexander Usik at a joint press conference with his Polish challenger Krzysztof Glowacki was unable to answer a reporter's question, about the belonging of Crimea, and he limited to the response: "Crimea is Crimea."
