During the 53rd court hearing on the case of the Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Ahtem Chiygoz, the interrogation of the first secret witness "Petrov" was interrupted due to technical reasons. It will take several days to fix the communication between the courtroom and a "secret room" where the interrogated person is held, lawyer Nikolai Polozov tweeted.

The lawyer said that, in the middle of the interrupted interrogation, without wasting time, the court decided to start questioning the next witness for the prosecution - Marintsov Yuri - who at the time of the February 2014 events was a member of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine in Simferopol.

It should be noted that during the 52nd hearing the judge began questioning the first secret witness in the case, who previously indicated in his testimony that he was a member of the Mejlis Presidium.
