In the occupied Crimea in the village of Kholmovka in the Bakhchysarai district, security officials searched the house of Crimean Tatar activist Nariman Memedeminov, the human rights organization Crimean Solidarity reported on Facebook.
Law enforcement agencies" cordoned off not only the house of the activist, but the whole street.
The Crimean Solidarity noted that the security officials had already carried out a search in the house of the Crimean Tatar on February 11, 2016.
“Security officials and law enforcement officers came to the house of activist Nariman Memedeminov. Residence address: Bakhchysarai district, 21, Kholmovka Str. Let us remind, that on February 11, 2016, his house was already searched, and then the Bakhchysarai District Court on July 13, 2017, was already considering an administrative case against Crimean Tatar activist Nariman Memedeminov. According to lawyer Lily Gemeddzhi, the activist was prosecuted for allegedly participating in an unsanctioned rally on April 13, 2017 near the house of Seydamet Mustafayev, who was being searched at that time," reads the report.
Then the activist was fined 10 thousand rubles.
After the searches Nariman Memedeminov was arrested. He was taken to Simferopol to the FSB department.
“According to his spouse, the search was carried out in a rude manner, the security officials used profanities,” the human rights activists note.
Earlier in the occupied Simferopol in the Fontany neighborhood the security officials searched the house of the Crimean Tatar Mustafa Kalafatov. The law enforcement officers searched for forbidden literature and weapons.
Previously in the Crimea, two more searches were carried out - in the village of Novy Mir in the Simferopol district and in the city of Stary Krym.
