Everybody hopes for completion of the trial on the case of "February 26", correspondent Taras Ibrahimov said in an interview with Hayat Radio.

According to him, it was expected that the meeting would end with a debate, which is the finish line, where the prosecutor's office and the defense will express their positions. However, this did not happen.

Many compatriots came to the “court” session to support the defendants of the case.

“Everyone expresses hopes that this trial will soon end. I want to remind you that this is the longest politically motivated trial against the Crimean Tatars," he said.

On April 23, the so-called Central District Court of Simferopol in the Russia-occupied Crimea extended house arrest to Ali Asanov and Mustafa Degermendzhi involved in the "February 26 case" until July 7.
