FSB in the occupied Crimea detained a citizen of Ukraine, ex-member of the battalion named after Noman Çelebicihan, Seit-Ibrahim Zaytullaev to obtain the evidence discrediting the civil association "Asker", the journalist Anton Naumlyuk wrote on Facebook.
He suggests that the occupants will release the Crimean Tatar shortly after they get the necessary evidence, since such cases have already happened.
“Actually, among the "Asker" members there are no Hizb ut-Tahrir followers, and theoretically there can not be. Perhaps, they will give the guy a suspended sentence, as promised. One should never trust security officials, clear precedent for this already exists, for example Osmanov brothers who were detained in fall, as well as Ablyazimov. They all were released after they told everything the "office" needed to know about the "Asker" and Islyamov on the record.”
The journalist noted that according to Zaytullaev’s mother, the detainee does not have any signs of physical impact, and the invaders assigned a lawyer to him.
Earlier, the FSB border department of Russia in the occupied Crimea informed on detention of a Ukrainian citizen a 19-year-Seit Ibrahim Zaytullaev.
According to statements from the security services, the Crimean Tatar attempted to get into the territory of the peninsula, bypassing the occupiers’ checkpoint. As a result of the interrogation, the FSB stated that the citizen of Ukraine was a member of the Crimean Tatar battalion named after Noman Çelebicihan which was allegedly "plotting subversive and terrorist acts in the Crimea."
