The website of a human rights organization "KrymSOS" has been blocked in annexed Crimea, according to a message on the website of the human rights defenders.

The users who click the website in different parts of the peninsula see a message saying the access to the requested resource has been restricted.

The service states two reasons for restricted access. "The network address, allowing to identify the website on the Internet, has been put on the Unified Registry of domain names, page indexes and network addresses enabling to identify the websites containing information that is banned from spreading in the Russian Federation", reads a message on the redirected page. The second possible reason: the access has been restricted by a court order or on any other grounds established by the legislation of the Russian Federation, reads a statement.

Meanwhile, has not been put on the official register of banned websites. It is worth mentioning that over the past few days a number of resources that do not support annexation of the peninsula have been blocked in the annexed Crimea.

The website of the QHA news agency is also among them.
