The publishing house AS Postimees Grupp has decided to stop publishing printed versions of "Day by Day" and "Postimees in Russian" newspapers, the publisher's site reports. 

According to the report, the publishing house will expand its online portals, since they are currently attracting twice as many readers.

“In recent years, the number of subscribers and readers of all Russian-language newspapers produced in Estonia has been reducing. At the same time Russian-language online publication show a steady increase in the number of readers,” said the CEO of AS Postimees Grupp Peep Kala.

The last publication “Postimees in Russian" has been issued today, September 29. The latest issue of the newspaper "Day by Day" will be released on October 1.

The publishers have promised to return the money to subscribers of the newspapers.
