The security forces finished searches in two houses of the Crimean Tatars in Simferopol (occupied Crimea), a member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Chairman of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center Eskender Bariev reported on his Facebook page.
According to him, the employees of the Crimean Center for Countering Extremism stated that preventive search activities were carried out.
“A "survey" was conducted, they behaved correctly. They did not touch anything themselves. The owners showed - the staff of the CCE watched. The phone and the tablet PC were confiscated," he wrote.
The security forces asked the son of one of the women in the searched homes, Mustafa, about his visits to Belarus and Turkey.
"They did not provide a copy of the protocol, they told to come to their office if documents are needed," the Mejlis member added.
QHA reported that in Simferopol, the security forces were searching two houses of the Crimean Tatars. The houses belong to two sisters Khatidzhe Alimovna Kantemirova and Zera Alimovna Bazirova.
