The rally under the slogan "Free the Crimea" and "Crimea-Warsaw - Common matter" brought together the Crimean Tatars, Ukrainians, Poles and Russians.
The picketers held posters "Holy Land of Crimea trampled by invaders", "Freedom to political prisoners of the Crimea", "Putin is a war criminal, his place is in the Hague", "Where is Erwin?" And others.
The rally organizer was a member of the World Congress of the Crimean Tatars Coordinating Council Nedim Useinov. The Head of the Association of Ukrainians in Poland Tim Peter also attended the event, as well as the Head of the International Solidarity Fund Krzysztof Stanovsky and others.
The activists marched from the Russian Embassy past the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Embassy of Poland in Ukraine, where they met with Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland Andrei Deshchytsa and Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Vyacheslav Kyrylenko, who was in Poland on a visit.
They presented the Ambassador with the map of Crimea, drawn by the Crimean Tatar, Ukrainian and Polish children.
Earlier QHA reported that as part of the Day of Crimea Resistance to Russian occupation February 26, the Crimeans were supported in France, Switzerland, Jordan and Cyprus.
