In the period from October 22 to November 2, temporary restrictions on the electricity supply are expected in Crimea, according to the press service of the so-called Feodosiya City administration.
Reportedly, the power outages are caused by the planned maintenance work at the substation "Taman".
Moreover, during the period, street lighting outages are expected in Feodosia as well, daily from 18:00 to 22:00.
The citizens were asked to limit the use of electrical appliances, as well as alert the autonomous sources of power.
The supply of electricity from Ukraine in the occupied Crimea completely ceased on November 22, 2015, due to destruction of the power transmission line pole in the Kherson region, which was connected to the peninsula.
Russia managed to launch in the annexed Crimea the last fourth strand of the energy bridge Kuban, expecting an additional 200 MW of capacity and total volume for the power bridge of 800 MW. But experts assure that Crimea will receive the Russian electricity by residual principle, so rolling blackouts in the occupied territory of the peninsula are inevitable.
