On November 4, the self-proclaimed head of the occupied Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, presented 14-year-old Crimeans with Russian passports  to celebrate the Russian "National Unity Day", according to the information of the press service of the Russian "government" of the Crimea.

“Today there are young people here who are patriotic in our country, they love their Motherland. Russia is a huge country and gives great opportunities, we are counting on you," Aksyonov said.

Furthermore, Aksyonov presented 19 awards, including medals for Meritorious Labor, the letters of the “Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea” with the badges, the gratitude of the self-proclaimed "head" of the Republic of Crimea, honorable  "Watch from the Head of the Republic of Crimea" to veterans and employees of healthcare, education, culture, agriculture, social sphere and law enforcement bodies.

Earlier, the information emerged that the family of Sergei Aksyonov owns several profitable companies on the peninsula.

In particular, the wife of the "head" of Crimea Elena Aksyonova earned almost 33 million rubles (about 564,788 USD) over the past year according to the official declaration only.

She is associated with the group of companies "Monolith", which is seeking to demolish hundreds of hectares with the housing of Crimean Tatars, in order to build a residential estate in Crimea "Crimean Rose" with total funding of more than 30 billion rubles (about 507 990 000 USD)
