Today, Boris Gryzlov, Russia’s representative in the Trilateral Contact Group on the settlement of the situation in Donbas, arrived in Kyiv for the first time, Interfax-Ukraine reports, citing its own source.

This visit is related to the upcoming meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk on Wednesday.

It is also reported that Gryzlov arrived by the flight, which received the permission for arrival to Ukraine by the State Aviation Service today, January 11.

Just a reminder:  Direct flights to the Ukrainian cities and transit of Russian aircrafts through Ukrainian airspace were banned on November 25 last year.
