Ukrainian political prisoner Oleg Sentsov is in the medical unit, human rights activist Zoya Svetova reported on her Facebook page.
She noted that Sentsov's health condition is disturbing, but doctors are closely monitoring his state.
“30 days of hunger strike. And this caused concern. The organism is in danger. He's in the medical unit. The doctors are monitoring him closely.”
QHA reported that Oleg Sentsov started the hunger strike on May 14, demanding the Russian authorities to release 64 Ukrainian political prisoners. On May 29, the Ukrainian director agreed to supportive therapy.
Later in the European Parliament held flash mob in support of Oleg Sentsov. The event was attended by MEPs and delegates of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the Council of Europe. Parliamentarians called for the release of the Ukrainian political prisoner.
