In this year's first trial of the Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Ahtem Chiygoz was attended by the defendant’s father Zeytulla Chiygoz, according to Twitter of the lawyer Nikolai Polozov.
“Today father of Ahtem Chiygoz came to the court at the trial. He wants to see his son at least on videoconference TV,” he wrote.

Ahtem Chiygoz was detained by the occupation law enforcement in January 2015 and charged with organizing mass riots on February 26, 2014 outside the building of the Supreme Council in Simferopol.
