The Crimean invaders charged Ukrainian Igor Movenko under Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for extremist activities), the Crimean human rights group reported.
As of now, the activist was released on his own recognizance.
According to the specified article, a Crimean resident faces up to 5 years of imprisonment. The criminal case against Igor Movenko was initiated over the patriotic comment of 2016, which he wrote in the group "Crimea is Ukraine" in the social network Vkontakte.
