The human rights organization Crimean Solidarity published footage from the village of Dolynne, where yesterday, May 21, searches were conducted in the house of the Crimean Tatar Muslim, Edem Smailov.

The shots present the consequences of the search, as well as the reaction of people to the detention of Smailov.

People characterize Smailov as an honest, God-fearing and good person. On the video you can see how people turn to God for prayer after Smailov is taken away by the security forces.

Reportedly, ttoday Edem Smailov turns 50 years old. A month later he was going to celebrate his eldest daughter’s wedding.

Crimean Tatar activists, Server Mustafayev and Edem Smailov, detained yesterday by law enforcers, will be included in the so-called "second Bakhchysarai group", in the contrived criminal case of Hizb ut-Tahrir.
