The World Congress of the Crimean Tatars (WCCT) made an official statement, expressing condolences to the Russian people in connection with the series of bombings in the Russian city of St. Petersburg:
“The World Congress of Crimean Tatars received with grief the news about the dead and wounded in the explosions that occurred in the Russian city of St. Petersburg.
Whatever the reasons are, such incidents, in which innocent people die and get hurt, are unacceptable. The incident in the Russian Federation, which in its turn openly supports terrorism in neighboring states, demonstrates that accomplices for terrorists are a target as well. That is why the governments of all countries of the world should be sincere and serious in the fight against terrorism.”
The WCCT expresses its sincere condolences to the families and friends of those who died in the explosions and wishes the Russian people patience.
Earlier, QHA reported that an explosion occurred in the car of the St. Petersburg metro on April 3. According to the latest information, at least 10 people were killed, several dozen were injured. One of the versions of the reasons for what happened is a terrorist act.
