Typical tourist entertainment on beaches – riding jet skis and other small-size sea vehicles – are banned in the occupied Crimea now. This season one can ride a jet ski only after training and boat master’s certification. Earlier, one could only leave a small amount of money or documents in security.
At the same time, riding small boats is the main source of income for beaches and boat stations. The most profitable directions in this area are jet skis, boat tours and sea activities (inflatable water rides should be towed now only with a boat, not with jet skis).
As a result, it is just boats with oars and catamarans on pedals for the annexed Crimea visitors.
Earlier, QHA published latest pictures of the empty beaches of the occupied peninsula on May 31.
