KYIV (QHA) -

Over the day of August 30, militants of the terrorist groups in the area of the Joined Forces Operation conducted 12 fire attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, thus violating the "school truce", the press center of the JFO headquarters reported on Facebook.

“Over the past day, August 30, the situation in the area of the operation had signs of stabilization and remained fully controlled by the Joined Forces. Occupiers conducted 12 fire attacks on the positions of our troops. The enemy did not apply weapons, banned under the Minsk accords,” the statement said.

Terrorists opened fire in the areas of settlements Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Luhanske, Mayorsk, Shumy, Peski, Pavlopil, Lebedynske and Vodiane.

“The Russian occupation troops opened targeted fire from grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.”

The headquarters of the JFO noted that the militants significantly reduced the number of shelling, but did not stop it completely.

For a day, no military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was killed or injured.

Previously, QHA reported that in the first hours of the "school truce", which came into force on August 29, militants violated the regime of silence more than 70 times. OSCE SMM urged the parties to immediately stop the fire and not endanger the civil population.
