Twenty fire attacks by the invaders in the Donbas on the positions of Ukrainian troops were recorded over the past day, August 19, the Press Center of the Joined Forces Operation reported on Facebook.

Aimed fire was opened from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms, and in separate directions - from the armament of infantry fighting vehicles.

According to the JFO headquarters, the defenders of the settlements Krymske, Katerynivka, Luhanske, Pivdenne, Zalizne, Zaitseve, Novoselivka Druha, Hnutove, Pavlopil, Lebedynske, Vodyane, Shyrokine came under fire.

During the day, militants conducted three attacks from grenade launchers and small arms on the positions of Ukrainian defenders near the settlements Shyrokine and Lebedynske. No losses among the personnel of the Joined Forces for a day were reported.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, two militants were injured.

Earlier, QHA reported that the Deputy Minister for Temporary Occupied Territories and internally displaced persons of Ukraine Yuryi Hrymchak noted that the Russian army "will choke on its own blood" if undertakes a new invasion of Ukraine.
