Over the past 24 hours, as a result of hostilities in the ATO zone, one Ukrainian serviceman was killed, another one was injured, according to the report by the Speaker of the Ministry of Defense on ATO issues, Colonel Aleksander Motuzyanik.

"Over the past 24 hours, as a result of hostilities, as a result of enemy fire, one Ukrainian soldier was killed in Avdiivka, another Ukrainian soldier was injured as a result of enemy fire near Zaitsevo," Motuzianik said.

The militants continued shelling in the Popasna district, as well as in the Krymski and Novotoshkovsky districts on the Bakhmut highway. In the latter two regions the gangs, after a sunset fired a gunshot with mortar, and during the day, limited themselves to short-term firing from light weapons. In the Popasnyansky district, the invaders were active in Troitsk and Novoaleksandrovka.

The pro-Russian forces used the entire arsenal of light weapons at their disposal, including armored personnel carriers and mortars.
