Over the past 24 hours, on October 24, Russian-terrorist forces conducted 14 fire attacks on the positions of the Joined Forces Operation, using arms banned under the Minsk agreements in three cases, the JFO Press Center reported on Facebook.
The militants used 82 mm mortar shells, grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.
As a result, one Ukrainian soldier was injured.
“The positions of the Joined Forces in the area of settlements Vilne, Yekaterynivka, Novoluhanske, Kamyanka, Peski, Marinka, Taramchuk, Pavlopil, Hnutove and Vodiane came under fire. Enemy mines of 120-mm caliber also landed in the territory of the village Vodiane in the Mariupol direction. The defenders of Pavlopil and Hnutove came under fire from 82-mm mortars, and the enemy was firing grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns at positions near Peski.”
Moreover, during three days the fighting took place around the small village Vilne in Luhansk region.
According to the intelligence, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated three militants.
From the beginning of the current day, on October 25th, the enemy fired three times on the JFO positions near the settlements of Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka and Hnutove. Heavy weapons were not used. A Ukrainian military is wounded.
Earlier, over the day on October 23, militants fired at the strongholds of Ukrainian military forces near Avdiivka, using arms banned by the Minsk accords.
