The inhabitants of the occupied Crimea, unlawfully conscripted to the Russian army, will be sent to serve in the Strategic Missile Forces of the Russian Federation, according to the report of the Russian Defense Ministry press service.
“For the first time citizens of the draft age of the Republic of Crimea will join the service in the formations and military units of the Strategic Missile Forces. During the spring draft of 2018, more than 8,000 of the young recruited people were selected for manning troops and military units of the Strategic Missile Forces. During the current recruitment campaign, about 2,500 recruits will be sent to training centers that train junior military specialists for the Strategic Missile Forces," the report says.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation noted that 200 people will be recruited for such specialties as excavator drivers, graders, paramedics and cooks.
Reportedly, the invaders in the Crimea in the spring draft will recruit 2.3 thousand inhabitants of the peninsula for an emergency service.
The recruitment campaign started on April 1 and will last until July 15. Throughout the territory of Russia, 128 thousand people will be conscripted.
