Representatives of the Russian occupation forces in the Donbas under the influence of alcohol cause injury to local population more often, the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reported.
Militants start alcohol abuse due to the lack of motivation, unsatisfactory service conditions, lack of financial and material support, according to the Defence Intelligence.
”On June 19, clashes occured between servicemen of the Russian occupying forces who were under the influence of alcohol and tried to dismantle high-voltage power supply line tower and local residents who tried to prevent the looting. The criminals opened fire from small arms after they had received resistance”.
The same day one of the militants who was drunk driving and without a driver's license hit a motorcyclist, the source further informes.
“The motorcyclist was critically injured. The command of the military unit tries to conceal the involvement of the criminal in the Russian occupation forces by means of his retroactive release.”
Earlier QHA reported that Russian command in the occupied Donbas opened fire on militants who had refused to comply with the orders of the leadership.
