During the day, November 1, Russian-terrorist troops in the zone of the Joined Forces Operation conducted 20 fire attacks at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) including with the use of weapons that were forbidden by the Minsk agreements, the JFO press center reported on Facebook.

“As a result of hostilities, one soldier of the Joined Forces died, two more were injured,” reads the report.

Terrorists opened aimed fire from grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms in the settlements of Stanitsa Luhanska, Zolote, Zaytseve, Avdiivka, Berezovoe, Krasnohorivka, Novotroitske, Starohnativka, Hranitne, Chermalyk, Hnutove, Vodiane, and Lebedynske.

“In addition, the enemy fired at the position of the Joined Forces near the village Chermalyk from mortars of 82 mm caliber. The greatest fire activity was recorded on the Mariupol direction.”

The headquarters of the Joined Forces Operation noted that two militants were liquidated during a day, and four more were wounded.
Earlier, during the day of October 31, militants 24 times fired at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as a result of which two Ukrainian soldiers were injured. Reportedly, prohibited weapons were used in five attacks. Terrorists opened fire from mortars and artillery.
