Militants from the terrorist organization "LPR" intend to deploy a large number of military hardware in the city center on May 9, the Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Alexander Hug informed.

According to him, a corresponding statement was made by the separatists themselves, who brought the equipment in the vicinity of the city.

"Armed formations in Luhansk announced they’re going to violate the Minsk agreements by lining up large amounts of hardware in Luhansk city on May 9," reads the message.

According to him, this rudely violates the Minsk agreements and no exceptions are stipulated in the agreement.

He also noted that the OSCE mission recorded mines near residential buildings.

“We also found 50 anti-tank mines in Popasna. The parties once again demonstrated their intention to act in the usual way," Hug said.

Earlier, Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Viktor Kononenko said that in the fall Russia plans to conduct a new destabilization of Ukraine, allegedly defending the Russian-speaking population.

Kononenko further noted that Russia plans to use criminals to destabilize the situation.
