Over the past day of July 30, 40 cases of ceasefire violations by militants in Donbas were recorded, including three cases with the use of arms banned under Minsk Agreement. As a result of the attacks three Ukrainian soldiers were wounded, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation reported on Facebook.

According to the center, Ukrainian positions came under targeted fire from grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.

“The Russian occupation forces opened targeted fire mainly from grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms on the defenders of the settlements Krymske, Travneve, Svitlodarsk, Novhorodske, Mayorsk Opytne, Avdiivka, Mariinka, Novomykhailivka, Novotroitske, Kamyanka, Peski, Lebedynske, Pavlopil, Hnutove and Shyrokine,” the headquarters reported.

Near the Vodyane settlement in Donetsk region militants three times opened fire from mortars of 120 mm and 82 mm caliber. According to intelligence, one occupier was destroyed and another four were wounded.

Previously, on July 29, a Ukrainian military serviceman was wounded in the zone of the JFO.

Earlier, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation reported that formations of the Russian Federation in the Donbas are preparing for active hostilities. The Pro-Russian troops build up military equipment, despite an arms withdrawal arrangement. Observers record numerous facts of the movement of military equipment outside of weapons storage facilities, as well as the improvement of positions in areas not controlled by Ukraine.
