"LPR" militants organized the explosion of an OSCE patrol car in the occupied territory of the Luhansk region, seeing support for the idea to deploy peacekeepers to Donbas, according to the statement of the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko during a press conference on Sunday, May 14, QHA correspondent reported.
“I would really like my idea of introducing peacekeepers to be supported. They [the militants – ed.] were frightened when saw that the idea of peacekeepers began to find support, and the vehicle of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission was destroyed, which resulted in the death of an American observer, a paramedic," the President said.
Earlier, QHA reported that on April 23, during the patrol in the area of the settlement Prishib (territory of the ORLO), a car of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission was blown up. As a result of the incident, one OSCE official was killed and two others were injured.
