In the city of Marinka in the Donetsk region, on the night of Saturday, December 2, a residential building came under militants’ fire, the Chairman of the Donetsk Regional Military Civil Administration Pavel Zhebrivsky reported on Facebook.
According to him, damage from the shelling was observed at the scene.
“The Chairman of Marinka District State Administration Vladimir Moroz informs that the shelling lasted for several hours: approximately from 18 pm to 3 am. This morning, the streets that came under fire are inspected by the survey group. Yet, one damaged house has been found on Shevchenko Street, 266, where two people are residing,” Zhebrivsky wrote.
Zhebrivsky assured that the victims will receive the necessary assistance.
Earlier, December 1, the ATO press center informed that within the framework of the Minsk agreements a redeployment was carried out in the ATO zone.
"Separate subdivisions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donetsk area changed their tactical position with the aim of improving the conditions for monitoring the enemy and conducting defensive fire in response to provocative attacks by Russian occupation forces,” the report said.
