The General Staff of the Russian Federation announced the establishment of a self-sufficient group of troops in the occupied Crimea, according to the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry.
“A self-sufficient group of troops (forces) has been created in the Crimea, including a naval base, an army corps, an air division and an air defense division,” reads the message.
Reportedly, the invaders have enlarged the Black Sea Fleet with six submarines, frigates and battalions of coastal missile systems.
Earlier, QHA reported that on October 17, the invaders sent the first Crimean conscripts of the autumn draft to the military units of the Russian Federation. Crimeans will be massively sent to service in Russia in November and December 2017.
This fall the occupants intend to conscript more than 2,000 residents of the occupied Crimea to the military service in the Russian army.
