At the "Opuk" training ground in the occupied Crimea, the Russian military conducted combat training of artillery detachment, formations and units that are part of the army occupation corps of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the department of information support of the Black Sea Fleet stated.
“After completing the march from the site of permanent deployment and equipping the field camp, the observation and reconnaissance posts conducted drills with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to detect targets and adjust fire, and also worked out the interaction of UAV operators with artillery units,” reads the message.
The invaders reported that the artillerymen had performed the training objectives on bringing the artillery units to battle, and also worked out actions to defend the sea coast.
Earlier, on April 3 in the occupied Crimea in Kerch, the exercises of Russian invaders on the Kerch bridge began. Security forces from the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry for Emergencies, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, ships of the Black Sea Fleet and Russian Guard took part in the exercise.
On April 11, the Russian crews of the ships of the Crimean Naval Base conducted exercises to work out a set of measures for setting up minefields and combating mine hazards.
