In the area of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) in the Donbas, 35 cases of ceasefire violations by militants from terrorist groups were recorded on December 10. Violation of the regime of silence resulted in injuries of five servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the ATO headquarters press center reported on Facebook.
“Over the past day, 35 violations of the ceasefire by the invaders have been recorded. In cases when the shelling of the enemy posed a direct threat to the life and health of our soldiers, they responded to the enemy with fire from grenade launchers, machine guns and small arms. As a result of enemy bombardments, four Ukrainian soldiers were slightly injured, while another was seriously wounded. All the fighters were taken to the military medical institutions and provided urgent medical assistance," the report said.
Thus, in the direction of Luhansk, militants fired mortars of various types, from which the fortifications of the Ukrainian Army were fired in Trekhizbenka, Krymske, Novotoshkovskaya, Travneve and Zaitseve.
Near Novooleksandrivka, Svitlodarsk and Luhanske militants used grenade launchers and infantry weapons.
In the direction of Donetsk near Avdiivka, Butovka, Kamenka, and Krasnohorsk militants used mortars, grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns.
Earlier the situation in the ATO zone aggravated. As a result of shelling, four military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were killed on December 9. Militants continue targeted fire at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and increasingly use mortars of various calibers, forbidden under the Minsk accords.
