Security Service of Ukraine has banned Russian actor Yan Tsapnik from entering the country for five years. The actor played a militant of the self-proclaimed "Donetsk People's Republic" in the film "War Correspondent".

“Twenty-ninth December, Yan Tsapnik, a citizen of the Russian Federation, was  issued a decision denying entry to Ukraine for five years and informed that the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine included him to the list of persons who threaten the national security of Ukraine,” reads the decision of the SBU.

Moreover, the SBU reported that Yan Tsapnik was to take part in the Christmas program as a guest star Ukrainian TV channel "Inter".
