Kiev (QHA) -

The Economist Intelligence Unit has put Kiev 132nd in its ranking of 140 most ‘liveable’ cities worldwide, with Damask (Syria), Daha (Bangladesh), Port-Moresby (Papa New Guinea), Lagos (Nigeria) and Tripoli (Lybia) ending up in the top 5 of the least ‘liveable’ cities worldwide.

According to the Economist Intelligence Unit, Kiev has lost 25 points in 2015, scoring 43,4 of a total of 100 points.

The ranking considered 30 factors related to things like safety, healthcare, educational resources, infrastructure and environment.

The fact that Kiev has gone down in the ranking is largely attributable to the war in Donbass, the company’s analysts emphasize.

Melbourne (Australia), Vienna (Austria), Vancouver (Canada), Toronto (Canada), Adelaide (Australia) and Calgary (Canada) have been named world’s most liveable cities.
