The head of the puppet government of the annexed Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, said that Turkey has no plans on opening a ferry service with the annexed peninsula.

According to him, "such enthusiasm has not yet been observed" from the Turkish side.

“So far we have no concrete results. Of course, we would like to, but from the side of the Turkish authorities there are no real intentions yet," Aksyonov said.

In the Crimea, information was spread that the "management" of the Crimean Sea Ports allegedly was negotiating with the Turkish partners to launch a ferry service between the peninsula and Turkey. The invaders planned the launch of the line Turkey-Crimea-Turkey in the fall.

QHA reported that Turkey stopped the ferry service with the Crimea occupied by Russia without any explanation.

The Prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Gunduz Mammadov said that Turkey has even suspended transit ships in the Crimea. According to him, Turkey and Ukraine have defined a common position on the repeated cases of trade of Turkish businessmen with the occupied Crimea.
