An acute shortage of specialists in labour occupations is observed in the Russian-occupied Crimea, the so-called vice-premier of Crimea Alla Pashkunova stated during the start of the regional championship "Young professionals" WorldSkills Russia.

“Hand labour also requires skill and time. In last 30 years, it was given not enough attention... We really feel its deficit in the Crimea. We now have a lot of construction projects, and we are announcing a lot of vacancies to the employment center, but, unfortunately, specialists such as electricians, plumbers, tilers, bricklayers, cooks, services that are very important to us, are lacking,” she said.

Earlier, the information emerged that there were not enough janitors and road workers in the Russian-occupied Simferopol.
