SIMFEROPOL (QHA) - Member of Ukrainian Parliament, ex-chairman of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev received threats by telephone. On early morning of January 22, an unknown person phoned Jemilev, introduced himself as ‘Jimmy’ and said he had an important message for Jemilev. He said that “bloody events” are approaching and told Jemilev to flee. In the end of the conversation he said such words as: “This is red terror! There will be a lot of blood! Leave as soon as possible!” In about two hours, when Mustafa Jemilev dialed the number, from which he received a call, the person who answered said: “Yes, we called you today. This is Security Service of Ukraine. You are arrested. We will come for you soon.” Mustafa Jemilev send an inquiry to the Head of the main department of Security Service of Ukraine in Crimea G. E. Kalachyov, requesting to identify the caller and take appropriate action.
