Yesterday, on the 29th day of joint operation of Turkish Armed Forces, the Syrian Liberation Army and the Air Force of the International coalition against ISIS terrorist organization in Syria, the Turkish General Staff traditionally reported on the latest developments of the operation.

A total of 103 positions of ISIS terrorists have been eliminated with help of Firtina howitzers and multiple rocket launchers. In general, since the beginning of the military operations on August 24, 927 positions and objects of terrorists have been destroyed.

As part of the Euphrates Shield operation, the settlement of Tall Ar, captured in the morning by terrorists, had already come under the control of the opposition by 16.30 p.m.

The International Coalition Forces conducted six air operations in Syrian regions of Bahvurtah, Kadrish and Zeytinlik. As a result, three IL terrorists were killed, as well as one building controlled by them and armored vehicle were eliminated.

Turkish Armed Forces carry out their military operations with maximum precision and care to avoid civilian casualties.

In the meantime, while the fight against terrorism continues in northern Syria, the forces of Bashar Assad's regime bombard civilians in the Syrian city of Idlib.

As a result of the attack on the village near Khan Shaykhun 13 people were killed, another 21 suffered wounds of varying severity. A representative of the Civil Defense reported that the Assad bombers, as usually, were planning an attack on the position of the Syrian opposition, but civilians, including women and children, came under attack again.

The "Euphrates Shield" is a joint military operation carried out by the special operation groups with the Turkish Armed Forces and the Air Forces of the international coalition against ISIS terrorist organization in Syria, which started in the early morning of August, 24. The main objectives of the offensive are to clear the frontier regions from ISIS terrorists, ramp up the border security, provide support for the territorial integrity in Syria, as well as to prevent the creation of so-called "Kurdish corridor” PYD on the southern border.
