The border guards stopped a citizen of Ukraine who offered them a bribe at the Chongar checkpoint, located on the administrative border with the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, reported the State Border Service.
A woman tried to "close a deal" and offered a bribe in the amount of UAH 400 to cross the Crimean border. The woman was denied crossing the border and the police informed on the fact, said a statement.
The State Border Service stated that 630 attempts to bribe the border guards have been recorded since the beginning of 2016.
