Any citizen of Ukraine soon will be able to see online what is going on at checkpoints of Crimean blockade.

According to, Eskender Bariev, a member of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people, said that the webcams to have already been installed in the village of Chongar and broadcasting will start soon.

He stressed that the permanent online airing will enable Ukrainian citizens to see what is going on at any time of the day, so they will see for themselves how transparently and within the law the rally is being held.

Oct. 6 Crimean human rights group, which held the monitoring of activists’ actions, has confirmed violations on the part of the people representing the volunteer battalions in the area of the Chongar checkpoint at the Crimean border. Earlier on it was reported that since the beginning of the civil rally aimed at Crimean food blockade the activists have filed close to 20 complaints about violations of their rights
