Alexander Popkov, lawyer of a Crimean human rights defender Emir-Usein Kuku detained on charges of terrorism and involvement in the "Hizb ut-Tahrir" organization, said that FSB officers in Crimea conduct works even with detainees’ children.

- A Crimean Tatar man came to school where Usein’s son studies, took him aside and said that his father got in with bad people and he would be locked up for 10-15 years. We have found evidence proving this is not a fantasy. Therefore, I have launched a criminal case upon the fact, said Alexander Popkov.

The detainees- Enver Bekirov, Emir-Usein Kuku, Vadim Siruk and Muslim Aliev are socially active citizens. In particular, prior to being arrested Emir Usein Kuku was engaged in human rights activities and recorded human rights violations in Crimea. All of detainees are charged with involvement in "Hizb ut-Tahrir" organization banned in Russia.
