The first part of the plan on regaining Crimea is a political and diplomatic one, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin told on Thursday the "1 + 1" TV Channel.

- This is international support for the Ukraine’s unity and solidarity, non-recognition of occupation of Crimea and sanctions against Russia, said the Minister.

The second strategy is the information policy.

- Crimean residents are constantly brainwashed, we must show them that their future is in European democratic Ukraine and not in Crimea under temporary Russia’s occupation as it is road to nowhere, said Klimkin. In the annual report the international human rights organization Amnesty International told about the deteriorating situation with human rights in annexed Crimea.

No effective investigations followed six disappearances of Crimean Tatar activists, one confirmed case of abduction, as well as tortures and murder in 2014.

February, 26 has been recognized the Day of Crimean Resistance against Russia’s occupation as this day the city of Simferopol hosted a rally against the separatist sentiments in Crimean Parliament, which led to occupation of the peninsula.

The Russian Federation occupied Crimea in February-March 2014 saying a falsified referendum on March, 16 showed that Crimean residents want to join Russia. The international community has not recognized the annexation. For Ukraine, Crimea remains the temporarily occupied territory.
