After the official screening of “Crimea. Resistance” documentary on July 12, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko thanked Oleg Sentsov and other Crimean political prisoners for their courage, according to a QHA correspondent.

“I would like to bow low and thank Oleg Sentsov, who is in prison now for his beliefs. Because he does not refuse his Ukrainian passport. He has not committed any crimes,” said Poroshenko.

Ukrainian President also said that two the most tragic dates in the history of the Crimean Tatar people are associated with one organizer - the Kremlin.
