As part of his visit to Poland on July 8-9, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is to participate in the activities of the NATO Summit at the invitation of the NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, according to the President’s website.

“In the framework of the Summit, the President will participate in the meeting of the Ukraine - NATO Commission at the highest level, as well as the NATO Summit in Afghanistan,” reads a statement.

It is also noted that Poroshenko's visit program also provides for a number of bilateral meetings with the leaders of foreign countries participating in the NATO Summit.

The NATO Experts' Forum Summit is being held in the Polish capital of Warsaw now (July 7 to 9), where the Commissioner of the Ukrainian President on Crimean Tatar Affairs Mustafa Jemilev and Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov represent the interests of Ukraine and the indigenous people of Crimea – the Crimean Tatars.
