April 11, Lithuanian Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis will arrive in the east of Ukraine, where he will provide the military assistance in the form of products, optics and medical supplies, the press service of the Lithuanian government reported.

The Lithuanian delegation intends to familiarize with the consequences of military operations in the Donbas and meet with the leadership of the civil-military administration of the Donetsk region.

The Head of the Lithuanian government will visit an outpatient clinic, renovated at the expense of Lithuania, and open a children's playground equipped by Lithuanian volunteers. Meeting with local residents is also planned.

After the Donbas, the Lithuanian delegation will visit Kyiv, where Skvernelis will meet with Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman. He will also open the Kyiv Security Forum and take part in the session of the Prime Ministers "Regional cooperation: united by common goals".

Earlier, the Speaker of the Seimas of Lithuania Viktoras Pranckietis said that Lithuania sees no opportunities for significant changes in relations with Russia, until the position of the Russian Federation changes.

Reportedly, Lithuania will transfer to Ukraine seven digital terrestrial television transmitters for the restoration of broadcasts of Ukrainian programs in the Donetsk region.

It is noted that the administration of the Donetsk region in July asked the government of Lithuania to help in this matter. Ukraine will be provided with low power transmitters, which cost about 33.5 thousand Euros.
