Intergovernmental negotiations between Russia and Turkey on Turkish Stream gas pipeline project were suspended, RIA Novosti reports.

“The negotiations are suspended, given that the work of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation has also been suspended in accordance with the governmental decree,” Alexander Novak told reporters.

Earlier, Alexey Miller, head of Gazprom, indirectly confirmed the pause in the negotiations on this project, noting that if Ankara needs the Turkish Stream it should contact Moscow for dialogue.
