Zair Smedlyaev, Head of the Qurultai Central Election Commission, reports that another search was conducted in the mosque of the village of Vishennoye, Belogorsk district, by Russian security forces on the evening of May13.

"Chairman of Qarasuvbazar (Belogorsk) regional Mejlis Mustafa Asaba has reported a search being conducted in Jami (mosque) of the village of Muşaş (Vishennoye). Obviously the information the Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov told about is confirmed. So, it will be followed by other large-scale provocations," Head of the Qurultai Central Election Commission wrote on his Facebook page.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov voiced his concerns about a new wave of raids after invading the Caravanserai “Salachik” Crimean Tatar Cultural Center by security forces in Bakhchysarai on May12.

"I realize that my message may not be confirmed, but it will be the case when I can say with relief: "Alla'ga Shukur!" and ask forgiveness for causing new alarm in such a difficult time," Refat Chubarov wrote on Facebook, calling for vigilance and caution.

On that day (May 12 - Ed.) two buses full of armed people arrived at the site. Following mass searches, Zevri Abseitov, Remzi Memetov, Rustem Abiltarov and Enver Mamutov were arrested.

The so-called Crimean prosecutor Natalia Poklonskaya called the detainees terrorists, accusing them of involvement in "Hizb ut-Tahrir" international political party.

On May 6, armed men raided a mosque in the village of Molodizhne, Simferopol district, during Jumu'ah and detained more than 100 Muslims. On the way to the intended destination, they were released but ordered to show up at the police station.
