Today, within the framework of a meeting of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Crimean Tatars in Vilnius, the WCCC Executive Committee and Mejlis members held a meeting with the Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas Mrs. Loreta Grauzhinene, reported Gayana Yuksel, Chief Editor of the "Crimean news" Agency.

- Today, a resolution on the rights of the Crimean Tatars has been adopted. Therefore, meeting with you, I can speak on behalf of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania. The Americans once again said they do not recognize the annexation of Crimea and are concerned over the policy of militarization of the entire Crimean peninsula. In turn, the Lithuanian Parliament condemns the gross and systematic human rights violations in the Crimea, as well as actions restricting the activities of the Mejlis - a representative body of the Crimean Tatars, said the Speaker of the Seimas.

According to Mrs. Loreta Grauzhinene, the text of the resolution on the rights of the Crimean Tatars is much wider and WCCT participants can get acquainted with it.

- Lithuania will always be your loyal friend and ally. We believe it is important to support our friends - the Crimean Tatars in trouble. And in the end we will be able to visit Crimea and your beautiful Bakhchisarai, which I have seen more than once in my youth. We will also have an opportunity to take part in the World Congress of the Crimean Tatars, which, I believe, will be held in Crimea, said the Speaker.
