Turkey has requested our country for help in waging information warfare against Russia, reports EvroPravda citing Tatyana Popova, Deputy Minister for Information Policy, who said that at a Lvov-held conference called ‘1 year after the signing of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement: Results and next steps’.

“Turkish representatives asked us for help in fighting Russian misinformation,” she said.

According to Popova, representatives of the Turkish Embassy to Ukraine have repeatedly contacted the Ministry over the last two weeks.

“A meeting attended by representatives of our Ministry, the Information Department of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, StopFake NGO and the Turkish embassy took place yesterday. We discussed different ways of cooperation, including providing training for Turkish representatives,” Tatyana Popova said.
